Emergency Response in Romania & Serbia

As part of out ongoing social responsibility, our director, Gary Bennett, is the chair of a charity called SERA known as the Scottish Emergency Rescue Association.
SERA in partnership with Blythswood Care have delivered over 35 fully equipped fire appliances and 9 ambulances to countries such as Serbia, Moldova and Romania.
In Romania, we were instrumental in the building of a new fire station; funding of a fire fighting team and provision of a fully equipped fire engine which will serve the local community of Floresti near Cluj.
In Serbia we delivered our 23rd fully equipped vehicle which will assist the fire fighters in Nis to safely remove people trapped in road traffic accidents as well as assist with their normal fire fighting and rescue duties within the city of Nis which is home to over 350,000 people.
In 2017 SERA will deliver a further 5 fully equipped fire appliances and 1 ambulance to Serbia as well as supplying over £1 million of equipment to Moldova.
